Centre for Good Governance and Policy Analysis

An online interaction session was organized with the officials of NITI Aayog to deliberate on issues related to governance, policy formulation, and developmental initiatives. The meeting aimed at gaining insights and understanding innovative approaches adopted for effective governance reforms and public service delivery.

An online interaction meeting was conducted with the Senior officers of the Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad to seek guidance and insights on improving governance systems and administrative processes. In his opening remarks Prof. Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, IUST said that the Centre for Good governance and Policy Analysis has been established with the objective of acting as a think tank to bridge the gap between Administration & Academia for improving the governance with the help of IT tools. He called for collaborative efforts to achieve the objective. The discussion covered best practices of governance reforms, transparency, and efficient public service delivery. The interaction was beneficial in gaining expert perspectives and practical recommendations for strengthening governance frameworks.

During the meeting, participants presented their insights, practical experiences, and innovative ideas related to governance, administrative efficiency, and capacity building. The discussion focused on identifying best practices, strengthening institutional frameworks, and exploring opportunities for knowledge sharing and future cooperation.

The Centre for Good Governance and Policy Analysis (CGG&PA), Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) organized a Two-Day Capacity Building Programme aimed at enhancing administrative efficiency and institutional governance. The programme was conducted on February 4 and 5, 2026, focusing on administrative rules, financial procedures and digital governance tools. The first day featured expert sessions on managerial skills, secretariat procedures, and e-Office implementation, while the second day focused on financial rules, treasury procedures and e-Procurement (GeM).
