Organizational Structure
A. Board of Governors (BoG)
The Board of Governors serves as the apex decision-making body of the Centre. It is headed by the Vice Chancellor, IUST.
Main responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic direction and resource allocation
- Approving major initiatives and programs
- Reviewing performance and impact of Centre activities
B. Advisory Committee of the Centre
Headed by the Vice Chancellor, this committee plays a vital advisory role.
It guides the Centre by:
- Recommending strategic roadmap
- Advising on priorities to achieve institutional objectives
- Offering expert insights on governance and policy matters
C. Working Group
Headed by the Vice Chancellor, the Working Group comprises key academic and administrative leaders of IUST.
Members include:
- Prof. Humayun Rashid, Professor of Practice, Environment Sustainability & Climate Change
- Dr. Asifa Mehraj Baba, Assistant Professor/ I/c Dean of Students, Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Dr. Irfan Ahmad Sofi, Assistant Professor/ I/c Head, Economics
- Dr. Irfan Maqbool Bhat, Assistant Professor/ Coordinator, Centre for Disaster Risk Reduction
- Dr. Mehak Majeed , Assistant Professor, Economics
- Dr. Jasiya Bashir, Assistant Professor, Geomatics
D. Executive Leadership Level
The day-to-day operations of the Centre are efficiently managed by:
Director in close association with a dedicated team consisting of:
- Deputy Directors
- Programmers
This level ensures smooth implementation of policies, programs, and daily activities.
