Director's Message
I am immensely pleased to present the Centre for Good Governance and Policy Analysis, a vital academic initiative dedicated to advancing excellence in governance, public policy, and institutional leadership. In an era marked by complex socio-economic and Environmental challenges, the need for evidence-based policymaking and ethical governance has never been more critical as it is now.
The Centre aims to serve as a think tank and act as a hub for rigorous research, policy innovation, and capacity building. By integrating academic scholarship with practical policy analysis, the Centre will contribute to informed decision-making at local, national, and global levels. It seeks to foster interdisciplinary dialogue, promote transparency and accountability, and encourage inclusive and sustainable development.
Through policy analysis, research projects, capacity building programmes, and stakeholder engagement, the Centre will support government, institutions, and civil society in addressing pressing governance challenges. It will also provide a dynamic platform for students and scholars to engage with real-world policy issues, thereby nurturing future leaders committed to public service and good governance.
I am confident that the Centre for Good Governance and Policy Analysis will at IUST
emerge as a centre of excellence, contributing meaningfully to policy discourse and societal
transformation. We welcome researchers, practitioners, and institutions to join us in our
mission to advance governance excellence and policy effectiveness for the betterment of
